The display will be open from Saturday, November 27th – Friday January 7th in the Speckels Organ Pavilion, in Balboa Park. The eight scenes of the Nativity are sponsored by the Community Christmas Center Committee. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the desire to present a totally non-commercial celebration of the true “Spirit of Christmas”.

Our committee usually sponsors an opening celebration the last Saturday of November, with family-friendly activities, Christmas music, performers, and pictures with Santa, but due to COVID we will only be putting up the display this year (2021). Hopefully events will resume in 2022.

We are a group of volunteers and are always looking for others who are interested in keeping this long-standing tradition alive and in the public square.

Here are some ways you can help out:

• Help with our program (when it resumes).

• Donate financially (some of our expenses include: permits, insurance, upkeep, storage, etc…)
